Believe it or not, I design custom-made blowguns for people!

If you are like most folks, you are naturally curious why someone would take-up making blowguns in the first place. To find out this mystery, read my "Urban Blowguns" article.

Once someone's mind is awakened to the awesome versatility & usefulness of a Blowgun, it becomes an infectious knowledge that must be passed on to those who are willing to listen. Their history and practical application in our modern society is an interesting topic, however, that discussion goes far beyond the original intent of this webpage.

Unfortunately, most people's limited exposure to a Blowgun is confined to children's toys found at most sporting goods stores. Purchasing this type of Blowgun is usually a BIG disappointment and will ultimately end up in the closet or in a garage sale next year. This is like settling for a BB gun, when you really wanted a .22-caliber long rifle.

Although originally designed as an extremely "accurate and deadly" weapon, Blowguns have a benign look and unusual appearance that allows it to be easily mistaken as a child's play thing. This same misperception unfortunately overshadows a Boomerang's true potential, as well.

Consider this ... if I lost my job, my house, my car, or my health, at least I know I could eat well everyday as long as I still had my Blowgun.

Although it may be hard to believe, at first, but it is possible to hunt LARGE game using a Blowgun. In a survival situation, I have the knowledge to take down a deer or elk to feed my family over an extended period of time.

Have you ever wondered why a Ninja with all those swords, knives, throwing stars, spears, nun-chucks, and other lethal weapons, find it necessary to include a Blowgun as part of their deadly arsenal? What do those well-trained Ninjas appear to know about a Blowgun that most people may not fully appreciate? I'll give everyone a hint by mentioning the secret phrase, The Breath Of Death!

So, now that I may have peaked a few people's curiosity, we unfortunately run smack dab into a few major decisions that need to be made ...

What kind of a Blowgun would you like someone to build for you? (duhhhh ...???)

How could any novice make this type of decision without first wading through a lot of complex choices they are not really capable of judging without some degree of experience or training. Since money is at the root of all evil (so they say), making these decisions based primarily on trying to lower the overall cost, would only nullify the whole endeavor and leave someone with a child's toy in the end. I have seen this problem countless times and have thought long and hard on a practical solution.

The typical scenario usually plays out like this ...

WOW, what an awesome Blowgun, where did you get that amazing-looking thing? (grin)

I custom make Blowguns for people, are you interested?

Really, how much for one just like yours, for instance?

$350 dollars.

WOW, that's a chunk of change!

It might seem that way at first, but compared to the cost and constant upkeep of owning a firearm, a Blowgun's one-time expense is relatively low. Personally, my .45-caliber handgun contains only nine bullets that would cost me about $8.25 if I actually shoot the D@#% thing. A Blowgun uses low-cost ammo that is not only reusable but it can be shot within city limits, unlike a firearm! Basically, a firearm is useless, unless you need to kill something to eat, or in a self-defense situation.

I own several firearms that I haven't shot in decades and realize how expensive they can be keeping them cleaned, lubricated and rust-free year after year. Could I get a Blowgun custom-made without this, and without that, and I don't foresee needing those, and leave that out too, so how much will that cost me now?

$20 at Toys-R-Us!

After the first 100 times, the scenario above is not quite as funny, and is ultimately a waste of everyone's time.
This is like purchasing a firearm from a dealer and asking them to leave off, the grips, sights, ammo clip, trigger guard, and firing pin in an attempt to save money, which would only leave someone with an expensive paperweight in the end.

Rarely, could a prospective customer decide on their own, what they wanted, and at what price they could justify as affordable. To resolve this re-occurring dilemma, I finally decided to create my own one-of-a-kind Blowgun packages and then market them according to a price range customers seemed to request most often. Basically, this gives everyone a very strong foundation from which to build, and still offers the option to upgrade from the original design rather than eliminate components that would cripple its usefulness. Personally, I seem to be having great success with this new formula, plus, my customers are much happier having to make fewer tough decisions. :-)

Although I can custom-build anything someone may desire, currently, there are three Blowgun packages that I offer:
(includes shipping)

Click here to learn more about our Phoenix Blowgun Package.
The Phoenix - $125

A break-down version, packs small, but re-assembles into a standard 3-foot model. Great for beginners and outdoor enthusiasts.

The Urban Commando - $250

Powerful, Versatile, plus a Laser Sighting System! This unique design looks like some high-tech weapon straight out of a "Sci-Fi" movie, and not like a standard Blowgun, at all.

The Zeus - $350

A mythical GOD who rains down destruction using bolts of lighting pitched from the heavens. Need I say more?

I apologize if the names seem a bit corny, but I had to call them something to help distinguish between their differences. If you purchase one of my Blowguns, feel free to name it anything you want, like Bill, or George, anything but Sue! (grin)

P.S.
I can't stress this enough, if you have questions related to Blowguns, call us! Since the usefulness of a Blowgun is almost as infinite as the ideas people devise to use them, there is no way to provide a list of infinite possibilities on any website. This webpage was designed to help unlock any pre-conception and prejudice that people develop regarding Blowguns, and is not intended to fully educate the public on this very broad topic.

Although I normally sell and generally list .40-caliber Blowguns, this doesn't mean I can't provide someone with a higher .50-caliber when needed. Let me be very clear on this matter, if you are unsure, call us, if you don't see it listed, call us. Don't "Blow Off" (grin) this website simply because I did not express somewhere that it is possible to tranquilize livestock using a Blowgun (or some similar benefit).

P.P.S.
We do offer our unique blowgun packages to minors, however, parental consent is required. Although blowguns can be used for hunting in many states, generally they are only used for fun and entertainment. Parental supervision is advisable, so children are taught to respect this weapon and not shoot at any animals like birds, cats, or dogs in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, kids have even be known to shoot other kids, without proper supervision.
