As many of you may be aware, USB Flash Thumb Drives are NOT typically secure. If lost or stolen, anyone can gain access to the private or personal information they may contain. Normally, there is no-way to lockup your confidential information from prying eyes.

Fortunately, RJTaylor Enterprises has extensively researched this problem and come up with an encryption solution. As a special offer to our customers ... if you purchase a 4GB USB Flash Thumb Drive from us ... you have the option to request that we also include encryption capabilities for only $5 more.

For this additional amount, we will create an encrypted area on your new USB Drive in the size that you request, and with a password of your choosing (up to 20 characters). Generally this can be a very daunting task requiring many hours of research and experimentation, however, we will handle all the difficult aspects of the entire process for you.

When you receive your new Thumb Drive, it will already be pre-configured as you have specified and ready for immediate use. This includes a special graphical user interface called a "USB - Portable Start Menu" which will give you direct access to several pre-programmed features and resources (see image below).

The "USB - Portable Start Menu" can also be configured by the user to include any additional quick launch items they may want to include (simple drop and drag). This is like having your own personal Windows START button area designed only with the information contained on your USB Drive. With it you can quickly and easily open any USB files, folders, programs, or websites all from one convenient control panel, or, system tray pop-up menu (see image below).

For your convenience, the "USB - Portable Start Menu" has been setup as a default open selection when the USB Drive is connected to your PC. No more scrolling around to locate the normal "Open folder to view files with Windows Explorer" choice (see image below).

Some of the special features we've added, have also been specially encoded on the right-click menu options associated with our unique Thumb Drive within your PC's "My Computer" area. A customized drive title and red USB drive icon has also been added, to allow individuals with many removable disk drive letters to easily locate their USB Thumb Drive. Designed with simplicity in mind, it might look or read more complicated then it really is to use.

If you decide to add this unique service along with your 4GB USB Flash Thumb Drive purchase, please indicate in the optional comments area of your order, the size of the encrypted area that you would like, as well as, the password that you wish encoded. At minimum we recommend making 1/4 of the drive encrypted (1GB), and the other 3/4 a normal 3GB drive (half and half is also a popular choice). The password should be a mixture of upper and lower case letters, not to exceed 20 characters (the longer the better, however, it can be short and simple of you desire)(it is very unlikely any TRUE hacker will ever try to crack your password to worry about its length or complexity).

This special offer is designed for those individuals that want a no-hassle encryption solution with very little effort on their part to learn complex tasks. Fortunately, what we have compiled and provide, includes all of the software and the user guide needed to allow a do-it-yourselfer to make any changes that they may desire in the future. This will allow anyone to alter the encrypted drive size or even change their password if the need arises.
