Anonymous Web Surfing or Not ... are you being
spied on, tracked, and profiled?
In my experience as an Internet Consultant, PC
Trainer and Software Developer, I've found that most home computer systems are
NOT secure at all. Unfortunately, the average person does not even realize a
problem exists, or know what can be done to resolve the situation.
Because privacy and security on the Internet is a major issue for concerned
individuals who frequent the Web, I usually recommend visiting the links
provided below to test your system for FREE. See for yourself if information
related to your computer can be collected without your knowledge or consent.
Important Note: These free security
tests I selected are harmless and designed only to test for possible
vulnerabilities on your computer and will not exploit or hijack them.

Things to possibly expect and should be on the lookout for:
- Can these sites actually track your history
and detect where you came from? Basically, do you see my web site as a
referrer address anywhere?
- Is the time-of-day you accessed their page
known, including the local time zone you live in?

- Do they detect the type of web browser you are
using, or the operating system you have?
- Do they know your monitor's screen resolution
or CPU type?
- Where they able to detect then display a brief
list of programs currently installed on your computer?
- Is either Java, Javascript or VBScript leaking
your system information? (possibly all 3 are exposing data!)
- Do these sites know your "personal IP
address" and can therefore trace you back to your own Internet Service
Provider?
If a privacy analysis does access and reveal
detailed information regarding your computer and your connection, I'm sure the
problem is actually far more severe than you really want to know. Especially since these
sites only test a limited number of vulnerabilities in the first place.
Unfortunately, hackers can gain access to their next victim's computer by using
the information some systems make easily available. BROADBAND subscribers are at
even greater risk because of their always-on connections (24/7).
Important Note: If you discover your
computer is leaking information, I strongly suggest you turn your computer off
when you are not using it. Doing so will at least limit the hours your computer
is susceptible to hacker attacks, trojan activity, virus distribution, or
spyware communications.
As a service to my customers and other interested home Internet users, I've
decided to provide assistance and training to help setup an individual's
computer (Win95/98/NT/XP) with the necessary protection and safeguard to secure their home
Internet connection.
Because of the potentially dangerous circumstances that can arise from a general
lack of knowledge or understanding regarding security concerns, I felt it was
truly essential to offer this special type of customer service to my clients.
The cost of my one-on-one technical assistance is now only $250 (a
$50 savings). Streamlining the long-distance training process has helped
reduce the overall cost involved in providing this unique service.
This one-time training expense includes several software
and utility programs that are necessary to protect someone's computer system from online
security and privacy related issues.
The information I teach, not only protects your
personal privacy as you surf the Internet, but also safeguards the valuable
information contained on your computer from a multitude of assault methods and
prying eyes.
Businesses normally hire network administrators to handle their security
concerns, now the average home PC user has somewhere to turn for help,
allowing them an equal opportunity to protect their own computer systems, plus
their individual rights to privacy as well.
